Cultural Life | Success in learning at a university requires adaptation to a new environment and frequently to a different culture. AUK is a lively, safe and fun place. Living and studying here is great pleasure. Numerous cultural, arts and sport events are hosted on the AUK campus throughout the year. These activities are open to the public and usually are free to AUK students. There is freedom of expression in our university; students can express their feelings through singing, dancing, or acting in different plays. | | Many of our students participate in different festivals or contests within Kyrgyzstan and show great results. This is Igor Minenkov- laureate of the festival Crystal Note, Spring Bishkek-2002, also the laureates of the festival Spring Bishkek-2002 were Ylya Rutskaya, Jen Jerry; participants of the festival were Alieva Salkynai and Marazykova Barno. The University offers ideal conditions for cultural and intellectual interaction, where theorists and poets can challenge or inspire each other, rekindle the fires of imagination, and enliven their daily existence. Thus it creates links between the city and the university, between students and artists, between academic and urban life. In year 2001 In AUK the student theater was founded where students perform plays in English and Russian language. Some of the plays were created in AUK. During the play the Hall is always full. Sometimes there 2-3 plays at a time. Musical Friday | We have one more great tradition. Every Friday Student Affairs office organizes a concert, play or something else connected with culture and invites students, staff and faculty to enjoy the beauty and proficiency of actors, singers and etc. The Musical Fridays is not only singing or dancing. On Musical Friday there were several plays performed and several benefices of some actors were held. | Here are the schedule of upcoming concerts that are going to be held on Musical Friday.
